Consecration Sunday Consecration Sunday is next week and we will have the pleasure of having Reverend Al Horst of Zion United Methodist Church in East Prospect delivering the message. I encourage all Locust Street members to be present and welcome Reverend Horst as we celebrate in this wonderful day of stewardship.
Consecration Sunday Victory Luncheon Immediately following the Consecration Sunday service there will be a victory luncheon. While sandwiches will be provided, all are asked to bring a covered side dish or desert and a place-setting. Thanksgiving Service On Tuesday November 24 The Wrightsville- Hellam Ministeriums will host Reverend Jerrod Coates & Schkena Snider in Concert at the FaithUnitedMethodistChurch, 7:00pm. All are invited for a night of Christian Celebration as we give Thanks to the God who has provided for us. There will be a station to drop off canned foods at the service so please bring some along.
Advent Candles If your family would like to light candles during one of the Sundays in Advent, please let Pastor Jim know. The candle lighting will begin with the first Sunday of advent, November 29th.
